Finding a flight instructor who can provide quality flight instruction in the Seattle, WA area can be an agonizing task that can leave a student tired, unsatisfied and discouraged to the point of giving up on flying. There are so many factors in selecting an instructor: experience, personality, cost and good, old-fashioned likeability.
For a full professional background, view the Bio page. Additionally, I have been a flight instructor since 1999. I have written ground and flight syllabi, developed and implemented an instrument-helicopter program for a highly recognized helicopter company and worked as a professional corporate pilot. My aviation experience spans over a decade with over 1700 0f total flight hours, 140 hours of instrument time, 360 hours of multi-engine, 550 complex time, 880 instruction given and 50 hours of helicopter time. I have experience flying the following aircraft:
- Beachcraft Bonanza 35V, A36TC, King Air 90, King Air 100, King Air 200
- Cessna 150, 152, 172, 182, Conquest II
One important factor which is often overlooked when choosing a flight instructor is personality. I have always said that if you do not like your flight instructor, you will not learn anything from him/her, no matter how qualified and/or competent either of you are.
So whether you desire a highly structured aviation course for pursuing an aviation career or you prefer a laid back approach to enhance your general aviation training, I strive to make your experience comfortable, exciting, rewarding and personalized while achieving a common goal of developing you into a competent pilot.
